Another RWNJ Creationist

Jack Kingston, Republican Congressman from GA claims to have come from God, not from a monkey.

He stated:

“I don’t believe that a creature crawled out of the sea and became a human being in one day”.

Well, actually I don’t believe it happened in “one day” either. I’m sure it took considerably longer than that. But neither do I believe that a magic spirit came down from the sky, gathered a pile of dust, blew on it and “Poof” it came alive. But hay, each to their own!

I wonder though, if he doesn’t believe that monkeys can evolve, how do you suppose he explains this?

  1. Perhaps they should replace Rep. Kingston with the gorilla; the latter behaves more reasonably.

As the Pink Panther once mused, “Why can't people be more like animals?”

  2. That's the thing about these folks.
They always frame it in the same way they believe it happened: instantaneously.
But it's the opposite. Minor changes over millions of years.
Still, Palin, Beck and others talk it up like it's an instant thing.
