Then we have the religious extremists groups such as the Army of God that promotes (and praises) bombings of abortion clinics and the murders of abortion doctors. As well as groups like Christian Identity, Christian Patriots and the Lambs of Christ. All of who believe their acts of domestic terrorism are justified because, “they are on a mission from God”. (So of course that makes it okay.)
Paul Krugman published an article in the New York Times on June 11, 2009 called “The Big Hate”, (Read article here) where he outlined how right-wing extremism is being systematically fed by the conservative media and political establishment. He also stated; “Yes, the worst terrorist attack in our history was perpetrated by a foreign conspiracy. But the second worst, the Oklahoma City bombing, was perpetrated by an all-American lunatic. Politicians and media organizations wind up such people at their, and our, peril.” And he would be right on the money with that one.
So, what about the extreme (and delusional) views of people like Orly Taitz and the Birthers? Are they likely to sprout another Timothy McVeigh? Unfortunately for all of us they very well could. In an earlier post I talked about how Orly Taitz is not only inciting hate and sedition on her blog, but also calling for armed revolt against our government and most especially against President Obama.
My question is what is the motivation of this treasonous Moldavian immigrant Orly Taitz? Born with communist and Israeli roots, and harboring extreme anti-Arab and anti-Muslim sentiments, could her hatred of Obama be rooted in the fact that his father was a Muslim and her belief that he is Muslim as well? She calls him a communist and claims he’s guilty of treason, but isn’t that is exactly what she is?
Is it all just because of her hatred for Muslims? She continually fuels the anti-Muslim phobias of all of these simple-minded right wing racist extremists, (then collects them as clients as she goes). As with other, (as Paul Krugman put it) “all-American lunatics” that have committed horrific acts of domestic terrorism there is no telling what may happen as a result.
Could she really be hoping that something horrible happens? Is she some kind of communist terrorist infiltrator, on a mission to encourage the simple minded among us into attempting an armed revolt on our government, or God forbid that some whack job follower of hers tries to make an attempt on Obama himself. Or is she just incredibly friggin stupid as she continues to call for her followers to form armed militias and says “It might be time now”.
I hope the Secret Service and the FBI have her on their watch lists.

Southern white democrats of course opposed the election of Lincoln, and once he freed the slaves many of them took to wearing white sheets and running murderous night raids. In their minds it was justified, after all they had to maintain white supremacy and keep those (now) good for nothing “Nigras” in their place. For a hundred years they did a pretty good job. Blacks may have been freed, but it was for damn sure they would not use white only toilets, drink from white only fountains or eat in a white only restaurant, at least not in the south. Not unless they wanted to be beaten to death or hung.
Then came President Kennedy followed by Johnson and the civil rights movement, and all hell broke lose. Suddenly all those once loyal democrats (or racists bigots) started bailing right and left. They refused to be part of a party that would have them piss in the same pot as some no account Negro, I mean Pah-leease! So as more and more whites migrated to the GOP, more and more blacks signed up as democrats.
Was that the tide that changed the face of the Republican Party forever? It seems over the years since to have become the party of choice for just about every hate group, extremist group and every redneck in this country. And as soon as a black man ended up on the democratic ticket for president they all came out in force, and they flocked to the GOP like ducks to water.
Thankfully they were not the majority, just for a change. As many Americans over the years have progressed beyond the racist bigotry of the past, many more began to see just how ugly and ignorant the face of that bigotry really was. Ugly because they were bursting at the seams with racial hatred, and ignorant because they believed they believed they were slick enough to hide their bigotry.
Since the onset of the 2008 campaign they called Obama a Muslim and a terrorist and every derogatory thing they could think of as well as accusing him of being guilty of every rumor they heard or read on the Internet. The fact that none of it was true was irrelevant; they were just desperate to have some kind of way to slander him. They wanted and still want him to fail at anything he attempts and they don't care what they have to do to make that happen. The Birthers claim he isn’t even eligible to be president, Teabaggers call him a socialist and communist, and Christian extremists call him the anti-Christ.
The most outrageous part of it all is watching these people attempt to claim that their disapproval and dislike of Obama is totally based on the issues, not because of his race. But the truth is most of them never had, and still have no clue what the issues actually were, nor do they really care. All they care about is opposing Obama and every time they are pressed for an answer as to why they, babble like idiots.
Has the GOP become nothing more than the new KKK?
It’s really a shame that in this day and age this kind of hatred and ignorance can still dominate so many people’s lives. They claim in one way or another that Obama is “hiding the truth” about himself, (among other things) but it seems to me that they are the ones that are really trying to hide the truth. The problem for them is it’s no longer politically correct to “publicly” use their white sheets to hide it with.

Not a birther was stirring, nor taking a stand.
Their lawsuits were filed in many a court,
Having faith they weren’t of a frivolous sort.
They hoped that a judge would grant their request,
To bring somehow Obama’s arrest.
They claimed him a liar a fraud and a cheat,
Who got to the White House on purely deceit.
Throughout the year they’d made claim after claim,
But all of their cases ended the same.
No evidence, no grounds, no one had standing,
But that didn’t stop their constant demanding.
The harder they tried the less they succeeded,
Courtroom to courtroom their claims went unheeded.
But that won’t impede their endless plight,
Removing that usurper from their sight.
And so as we settle this Christmas Eve,
Wondering what next they will pull from their sleeve.
We’re hoping for more of the fun that we’ve had,
Watching silly fools who are raving mad.

On December 11, 2009 the self-proclaimed “World’s Leading Obama Eligibility Challenger” posted on her website that “Orly Taitz would be interviewed by NBC for a documentary about Obama’s eligibility”. It states that she will be able to “highlight her legal efforts to bring to light the vital records of Mr. Barack Hussein Obama and the issue of his legitimacy to be President due to lack of Natural Born Status.”
Okay…. Isn’t that what they have wanted from the beginning? Don’t you think that if they truly believed in their own cause they would be chomping at the bit to finally have this chance to have their say? But the thing is the comments related to the post announcing this interview are full of apprehension. Paranoia is running rampant; they think it’s a trap!

Upper hand? Pah-Leese! Olberman and Maddow would make dog meat out of Orly Taitz.
Maybe they are starting to notice a pattern here on how all the interviews and MSM attention they do get keeps making them look, shall we say… pretty damn stupid? I wonder why they don’t wonder why that is. Could it be that stupid people don’t know their stupid, because they’re stupid?
Well, today is supposed to be the day of the interview and the questions are: Will Orly have a meltdown like she did on MSNBC? Will she chicken out and cancel? Will they debunk everything she claims, “yet again”?

Everything from the crazy Middle Eastern guy I ended up with in my ambulance once who’d been dragged about a mile and a half on the road hanging on the outside of a car. After which he was wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, shackled and pepper sprayed by the cops before I arrived, and it still took two officers to keep him physically restrained. To that crazy old lady who came to the doctor’s office once with a large pill bottle full of what she called “seahorses” to show the doc. The seahorses by the way ended up being her collection of crusty old boogers she’d been picking out of her nose and saving.
There is no question in my mind that many of those around us are not exactly playing with a full deck. Everyone at one time or another has seen someone that you just gawked at in total bewilderment, and the only thing you could think was, WTF?. The frightening thing is realizing of how many of them are really out there and just how extremely diverse their “issues” and diagnoses can be, and the fact that they truly have no idea that they are crazy.
So, what do you suppose Orly’s diagnosis would be? Can you just imaging the bewilderment on the face of the doctor assigned to decipher that in their first session? I’m pretty sure the first thought would be, “WTF?” Her first diagnosis would have to be some kind of delusional disorder.
Delusional disorders usually first occur in mid-life. They are also more common in women than men and are a very serious condition in which a person truly cannot tell the difference between their delusions and reality. I think this is obvious in Orly because she apparently believes whole-heartedly that every authority and news network in this country is illegally conspiring to suppress what she calls “the truth” about Obama’s legitimacy to be POTUS.
This brings us to the next potential diagnosis of paranoia. People who are afflicted with Paranoid Personality Disorders never have factual evidence for whatever they are paranoid about, but they believe they do. They can be very hostile and distrustful. They are very suspicious and quick to react against perceived attacks on their character. They also spend a lot of time in court suing people. Yep, that one fits too. Just have a look at Orly’s website, she thrives on paranoia and delusions.
Ever heard of “Histrionic Personality Disorder”? This disorder is actually explicitly connected to a patient’s physical appearance. People who suffer with this disorder have distorted self-images and an overwhelming need to be noticed and be the constant center of attention. Their self-esteem is totally dependant on the approval of others. They are very manipulative and dramatic, as well as naïve and gullible. They often exaggerate a seductive image and have little or no tolerance for criticism or disapproval.
I don’t know if Orly’s constant quest for headlines can be tied to this diagnosis, but she does have an insatiable appetite for praise and publicity, and calls for anyone that criticizes or questions her to be criminally charged with treason. She also has her website covered with names and pictures of public and political figures she claims, “Are her friends on facebook”. She actually believes that all these people sign up to be her “friend” in support of her movement to remove Obama from office, and even stated as much in a comment posted on 12/1/09.
Back in July when Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va) accepted her facebook friendship request she publicly claimed that it proved the Republican Party understood the importance of the issues and her legal cases. Cantor’s spokesman Joe Pounder responded; “No, Cantor does not support Taitz’s cause, and that her requesting his friendship was “her” registering her support for him, not vice versa.”
And what about a Narcissistic Personality Disorder? I think they must have used Orly to write the textbook on that one. From PsychCentral.com it says:
“In order for a person to be diagnosed with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) they must meet five or more of the following symptoms:
· Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)
· Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love
· Believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)
· Requires excessive admiration
· Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations
· Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends
· Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others
· Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her
· Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.”
(I’d say “Bingo” on that one!)
As I said, I’m not a psychiatrist, but I do think these diagnoses would probably be somewhere in Orly’s ballpark. I guess for a professional assessment we’re just going to have to wait for one of these judges she keeps pissing off to give an order for her to be clinically evaluated.

This would severely restrict the availability of private insurance coverage for abortion. Effectively denying millions of women the right to coverage for a legal medical procedure. It does suggest however that women could purchase a special “Rider” in addition to their regular insurance in order to have coverage for abortion care. How does it make the first bit of sense, to ask women to buy separate coverage to plan for an unplanned pregnancy? It doesn’t, no more so than telling men they have to buy a separate policy to obtain medication for erectile dysfunction.
You have to love Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Ca.) for cutting lose on all those nay-saying Senators on the Senate floor yesterday. Have a look:
Bottom line is these anti-choice people are perfectly entitled NOT to have an abortion if they so “choose”. But they absolutely do not have the right to deny that same right of choice to anyone else. Nor should they be able to deny access to medical coverage for a perfectly legal procedure to anyone else. They claim they don’t want “Their Tax Dollars” to pay for something they believe is wrong. Well, I don’t want my tax dollars to pay for war either, but they do.
Abortion has been legal for 36 years, and no that is never going to change. Women will never go back to the back alleys with whatever god-awful things they had to go through at the time. Any more then these crusty old male senators will give up their prescriptions of Viargra and go back to just wondering “limply” along wishing they could still get an erection. (Not as easy as it used to be, is it boys?)
I say keep your religious issues whatever they may be to yourself. No “religious opinion” has any business meddling in the laws of the land, in government policy and for damn sure has no business meddling in the lives of others. If you don’t want anyone telling you how to pray or who you can or cannot pray to and you expect to have your rights respected, then you have no right to disrespect anyone else's rights by telling them how they can or cannot live or what they can or cannot do. Other people’s lives are not your friggin business, regardless of your religious beliefs.

My general opinion was they were nothing more than racist assholes hell bent not to fall subordinate to some “Uppity Negro” who had the gall to think he could just march his little black ass right through the front door of the White House. So I had no interest in reading about them. But when I saw the headline about Maj. Cook, being the military brat that I am I took sudden offence at an Army officer trying to dodge a deployment in such a manor.
I read the article and as it all turned out, this guy Cook was not active duty, but a reservist who sent a “request to volunteer” to his command to go to Afghanistan on May 8th 2009, 5 months after Obama took office. With his request granted orders were cut on 6/9/09 for him to deploy on 7/15/09.
Any reservist who volunteers for an assignment has the right to rescind that request and have the orders revoked up until the scheduled day of deployment, in his case that would have been 7/15/09. The week before that date on July 8th he and Orly Taitz filed a restraining order in federal court to avoid this deployment on grounds that Obama was ineligible. Well, if he didn’t want to go, and thought Obama ineligible why would he volunteer to go? That made no sense, even less given the fact that he could have just called his command and said “ Ah, Never Mind!”
The answer? Publicity. It was nothing but a cheap publicity stunt from the off. Big Headlines, “Army Officer Sues to Avoid Deployment, Claims Obama is ineligible to be commander in chief.” The army just canceled his orders, they had too much to worry about in Afghanistan to be bothered with this clown, and I can’t say as I blame them.
Orly Taitz was all over that like flies on a pile of dung. She publicly claimed the army canceled Cook’s orders because they knew if she got them into court she would win and prove Obama was a fraud. What a crock! I couldn’t believe that she was dumb enough to think that anyone (with ½ a brain cell) would fall for that crap; in fact the only ones who did were her deranged followers. (There you go!)
I have had considerable laughs since at the absurd comedy sideshow they have become as they repeatedly get kicked out of every court they set foot in. Mel Brooks himself couldn’t have written a more comically outrageous script. I swear the people who believe that these idiots are really on to something probably don’t have the brainpower to qualify to ride the short bus! If they paid the slightest attention to who these people really are that are leading the charge they would die of embarrassment. Lets have a look.
She has been fired by several clients, one Connie Rhodes who then filed a complaint against her with the California Bar. Two others, Larry Sinclair and Lucas Smith who filed sworn affidavits with the courts attesting to her suborning perjury from both of them and accusing her of having an adulterous affair with one Charles E. Lincoln III, a disbarred lawyer, convicted felon, and her primary legal “assistant”. She swears none of that is true, but old Chucky boy came forward and said, “Yep, got me some of that!”
She has had multiple complaints filed against her and was even slapped with a $20,000 fine for her courtroom behavior. She publicly slanders every judge that that doesn’t rule in her favor and accuses them all of treason. In fact I can find no evidence that she has ever won a single case. But to give all dogs their due, (as my mother used to say) the x-clients that accused her of suborning perjury are themselves nothing but criminals. However before they turned on Orly, according to her they were “very reliable witnesses”.

The truth is the entire Birther Movement has just about as much validity as all these other conspiracies. The facts are that Obama is an American citizen, and yes, “naturally” born in Hawaii. Even the Kenyan Embassy in Washington DC said, “Claims that Obama was born in Kenya are utter madness.” The basis of Birther claims of ineligibility seems to be that Barack Obama is not a Natural Born Citizen either because he was not born in the US, or because “both” his parents were not American Citizens, or both.
Well, we do know that Obama was born in the US, so lets look at this “both parent” thing. The Constitution of the US article 2 section 1 states: “No person except a natural born citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution shall be eligible to the office of President”. But what does that really mean? Nowhere in the constitution is the term “natural born citizen” actually defined.
This in many ways is like a bible verse in that it must be “interpreted”. Just like with bible verse interpretations specific meanings are usually interpreted to suite ones own agenda. Logic would suggest that the rightful interpretation of what a natural born citizen is should be concluded by close examination of historical events. Also following the Constitution itself and the rulings from the Supreme Court of the United States.
Lets start with the “Dred Scott Decision” in 1857 the Supreme Court ruled that people of African decent imported into the US and held as slaves (or their descendants) could never be citizens of the US. So when the 13th amendment in 1865 freed all the slaves, that had never even been considered as people, in addition to white southerners getting their drawers in a knot over losing their chattel, a citizenship problem suddenly arose.
Following the 13th amendment the Civil Rights Act of 1866 declared that all persons born in the US were American citizens, regardless of race, etc, etc. That was followed by the 14th amendment in 1868. Section 1 states: “All persons born or naturalized in the Unites States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States”. (Notice how it said “all persons” and made no declaration that both parents had to be citizens first)
In 1898 the Supreme Court ruled the same in US v. Wong Kin Ark, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside." (And neither one of his parents were American Citizens)
All of this would suggest that Obama being born within the boundaries of the US, would in fact be a natural born American citizen. But the Birthers counter that with, “But..But.. his father was not an American so that makes him illegitimate”. Wrong again! See the 14th amendment and US v. Wong Kin Ark.
Or even refer to Title 8 of the US Code Section 1401, it defines people who are “citizens of the US at birth”, and what do you suppose the first thing listed is? Yep, you’ve got it, “Anyone born inside the United States”, also NOT stipulating that both parents had to be citizens first. (This combination of events is also what ultimately led to our immigration problem)
It is amazing how their followers have this almost desperate belief that this is in fact the biggest news story and the most horrific scandal of all time when nothing could be further from the truth. Especially when their so-called “leaders of the cause” have such tainted backgrounds themselves. It’s almost comical to watch all these “pots calling the kettle black” so to speak. They are a combination of frauds, felons, disbarred lawyers, criminals, and outright liars who spend their time accusing everyone else of being guilty of crimes.
And BTW, anyone interested in reading a more detailed legal analysis of the definition of a Natural born Citizen, please read the following:
